A visceral exam requires the patient to begin standing or sitting with gentle pressure applied to the head followed by lying on their back with a gentle palpation of the abdomen to assess the area of greatest restriction or adhesion. This exam and subsequent treatment should not result in pain.
What should I bring/wear to my appointments?

Bring any imaging reports (X-Rays, MRI’s, CT scans etc…) The imaging will not be read here at Blue Sky Wellness, but the radiologist’s report would be helpful.

Wear loose comfortable clothes to move in. Exercise clothing is appropriate.
How many appointments will I need and how long does it take to get better?
- This varies depending on condition. Most conditions require anywhere from 4-12 visits. Some conditions require maintenance and therefore further visits are warranted.
